You can register by clicking "Register" at the top right of the page, or you can click here. When registering, you must have a valid email address for account validation. Before submitting your form, please make sure that all information on it is correct. If you fail to enter some of the data correctly (i.e. passwords or username) the Register button will appear greyed out. You will then be sent a confirmation email. Make sure to check your Spam/Junk folder for it if it does not appear in your inbox. [top]
Simply write your short message in the text box on your profile page and push "Post!". Should you want to add a screenshot, you may upload one from your computer. HTML is disabled from posts. [top]
First, save the desired image in a place where you can easily find it. Then click the "Add Screenshot >>" button. Click "Browse" and navigate to the place where the image is saved. Select it and click OK. Then, click "Upload Screenshot". Adding a title to your screenshot is optional. The only supported formats are png, jpeg, and gif. The file size must be less than 1MB.[top]
Remote uploading allows you to upload an image that is already on the web somewhere. So for instance if you upload a screenshot to imageshack and don't have the original copy you can just paste the imageshack URL into our form and it will upload. You can also use this feature to upload a live stat signature. What this will do is simply attach the stat signature into your post. The stat signature will still update as it does on any other website. As of this time the only supported stat and goal signatures are from RSBandB and RuneWeb. [top]
To edit your profile, click "(edit)" next to Profile on the right-hand sidebar. You may enter a new display name, change your password, and enter contact information. Your contact info will be displayed to those who view your profile. All public contact information fields are optional. [top]
I have not recieved my confirmation email.
Hotmail accounts are not supported at RuneWire. If you have signed up using a hotmail account there is a very high percent chance that your confirmation email was not delivered. If you have signed up with a hotmail account, either register again using a different email address and username or if you want to use the same user name wait 3 days until the inactive account is purged and re-register with a different email address.
If you have signed up with an email address besides Hotmail and you ahve not got your confirmation, check your spam/junk folder. Many large email providers (Yahoo, Gmail, etc) tend to defer confirmation messages to the Junk folder. Please check there before submitting a Bug Report. If you have received the confirmation email, but your link is not working, paste the link into the browser. [top]
I am unable to upload a screenshot.
Make sure that the picture you are uploading is a JPG, GIF, or PNG that is under 1000KB. If it does not meet these requirements, the image will not be uploaded. [top]
